Report: UK businesses are 'analytically challenged' written updates:-
Only 18 % of UK participants depend mostly or entirely on information to recognize goals and strategy

UK companies are more "analytically challenged" than on the globe and are having difficulties to discover the value of big information.
According to new analysis from MIT Sloan Control Evaluation and statistics software company SAS, of the 2,500 large companies interviewed worldwide, 67 % said statistics made their companies more aggressive, in comparison to just 37 % in a similar 2010 research.
The review, 'From Value to Vision: Reimagining the Possible with Data Analytics', features the variations in "analytics maturity" among organizations. In complete, it discovered 28 % were "analytically challenged", 60 % were "analytics practitioners" and 11 % are "analytical innovators".

For analytically pushed participants, useful information is generally missing and cooperation is low. Analytics practitioners' perspective their information as useful, but their systematic concentrate is functional and the organization's statistics facilities is fragmented.

"To link the systematic gap, the 'challenged' need to encourage company customers to create more intelligent choices much more quickly by implementing statistics to their information," said Rich Kellett, marketing home at SAS UK & Ireland in europe.
